There are people who because it "never effected them", who will never allow the thought of the 'danger of it' enter their mind. The government said it was OK, so it is.

While small quantities of most anything will not do permanent damage when consumed, it does depend upon how you are exposed to them.

RiverAlso, given a bit of salt and a bit of acidity in solution, it dissolves metals. In case of 35% - explosively.

(Used 3% H2O2 solution + citric acid + table salt to etch circuit boards). The 35% solution is really dangerous.

Here water is conditioned as a final step with UV light. No chlorine or anything. At least this is what the company claims.

Also - first link about chlorine exposure is about it's gas form, not the one dissolved in water. The last one, about bromine - makes the same mistake. it mixes up the gas/liquid element with anything containing it. In short - both are writen "alarmist style".
