Has anybody had much luck with spirotone?

I cant afford Androcur or the generic.

I only try spiro for a short time and At the same time I was on androcur so I couldn´t be objective about Its efectiveness. But If you´re searching for a good and cheaper option you could try Depo-provera

It´s expected that any antiandrogen produce some level of gynecomastia. Some people develop more others less. However when Depo Is combined with estrogens could promote more breast enlargement. By Itself won´t do so much. Genetics is involved though.

I'm pretty sure depo doesn't feminize; at doses used for chemical castration it is equally effective blocking both testosterone and estrogen, as well as ACTH, cortisol, progesterone and gonadotropin. It's recognized not to possess estrogenic properties, unlike Androcur and Spiro, so the risk of gynecomastia is far, far lower. I could be wrong. Obviously, not having T in your body will feminize it to some degree. I personally had no breast growth on depo, but my skin did get softer and I gained a bit of weight. Highly recommend it, although it did take a wallop out of my energy levels. It's also far easier on your liver than taking Androcur with Tamoxifen for non-feminizing chemical castration. It's actually recommended for women taking large doses of depo to take supplementary estrogen because depo is so effective at blocking it, raising the risk of osteoporosis.

TL;DR depo has to be combined with estrogen to cause any sort of breast enlargement. Basically menopause in a syringe.

Also, after doing some research, it seems like depo provera and raloxifene would be a good combo -- no listed drug interactions, and easy hormone control. Depo blocks everything (T, E .. ) and raloxifine is a SERM, so it acts as estrogen on things like bone, but not breast tissue and the like. So -- easy on the liver chemical castration, maintained bone density, no feminization. Sounds like a win. An advantage of raloxifene over tamoxifen, it has far fewer drug interactions and side effects.

Yes, Raloxifen would be a good option for prevent osteoporoses without develop breast. But If you want some feminisation you will need a source of estrogens. When depo start lowering T and E If you want to get feminization and mantain bone density at the same time would be needed adding exogenous estrogens. Raloxifen, acts like a kind of estrogen, but Is not a estrogen in Itself so I guess Is not useful for those who want feminising because of Its weaker estrogenic action. Now How could be achieved castration plus feminisation plus no breast? Estradiol and depo provera and raloxifen , which block estrogens only on breast, together ? what a mess, and playing with hormones Is not so good

Right. In any case, depo-provera alone increases the risk of osteoporosis. For those who want feminizing, taking an estrogen supplement would both cause breast development and maintain bone density. For those who don't, a SERM like raloxifine will maintain bone density without causing breast growth. Regardless, lowering T will feminize to some extent.
