I am scheduled for 0600 tomorrow to have a bi-lateral testicle removal.

It has taken about 3 years and 2 liters of everclear to get to this point

I complained to my urologist about a year ago and he told me to see my PCP

The PCP said I had an infection and he gave me some antibiotics, which of course

I knew what was going on.

I had a routine appointment with my Endocrinologist who has me on TRT. He told me

to see my Urologist which I did. I complained of them being hard, achy all the time ( like I got kneed

in the nuts), Having sharp stabbing that radiate up to my upper groin. He sent me for an ultrasound

which was very pleasant, as a hot looking guy fondled them for about 30 minutes.

The US showed a mass in both of them. The urologist said he was going to do a biopsy. We talked about

it for a while and he finally agreed that complete removal through the groin should relieve my pain.

I agreed and it will happen tomorrow

I agree with Am I You? You need to complain about serious pain and show that there is noticeable damage before a doctor will remove them. I accomplished my goal with alcohol and then CaCl injections. I went to my primary care physician first, and he diagnosed infection after a couple of alcohol injections left them swollen. When the swelling did not go down (because I continued injections), he sent me to a urologist. I stopped injecting when I knew the damage was done and let them shrink. I then complained of fatigue, which is a symptom of low testosterone, in top of the pain. Doc did ultrasounds that showed they were infarcted (dead inside), and he did a couple of testosterone test that showed my testosterone had fallen to the 200s after alcohol injections and then less than 40 (when it should be 300-1000) after CaCl injections. The urologist tried three nerve blocks, but I kept complaining of pain.

You can't hurry a doctor. As my urologist explained, they know you'll be sterile if they castrate you. They also know that it will stop testosterone production, which is a big deal to doctors whose goal is to make everything function. The trifecta of pain + noticeable damage + they're no good use anyway = castration. And even though, you will need to suggest it, because they do not want to. Hope this helps. My story is very similar to this one, except that I never used alcohol and when my urologist saw my ultrasound scans, he told me that they would have to come out. I guess I was very lucky with the guy I was referred to.

TENS has had some early promising results with me, but the mechanics of it mean the failure will occur when the sticky pads inevitably fail to stick. Then I notice the failure a half hour later and find out that the TENS unit is shocking the crap out of my leg through a WAY too short path-length and tiny contact patch and is putting far too many miliamps through far too little meat and then I've got sore balls AND a sore leg.

If you're willing to buy electrode-laced leather jock straps from a hardcore sex shop, the unsuitability of the usual TENS electrodes might be worked around. However, I can't afford this, so I cannot provide firsthand reviews. In the mean time, I'll throw it out there because someone may be willing or able to give it a shot.

Based on that chart, it seems like the epididymus can be targeted by applying a current between T10 - the tenth thoracic vertebra - and the groinal region. Finding electrodes for the latter is …LINK TO A BANNED SITE WAS POSTED!difficult, at best. Here's what I recommend, having not seen anything in person yet; I plan on presenting this to my insurance agent with a straight face with the alternative to schedule me a $50 neuter-and-microchip appointment at the local vet's office. I expect they'd prefer to make the TENS unit work better, and won't ask for a firsthand demonstration of why the Walgreens electrodes are unsuitable.

My gift this happened on Tuesday at 0800 hrs. They are both gone.

My urologist told my wife after he was done, I was still out of it, that he had

never seen anything like it. He dissected one and was puzzled at what he saw.

I have a follow up appointment in 2 weeks and I can't wait to have him give me

his thoughts of what was going on.

So I am officially a member .

I wish the pain at the incision site would end.

I am not sure how to get the scrotum removed

any suggestions?

I followed much the same route as you only let my regular doctor discover my shrunken and hard testicles to set the process in motion. Mine were removed through two incisions at the top of my scrotum so pain there was minimal. More discomfort came from nagging feelings deeper in the groin from him pulling on the attaching stuff so he could cut that as short as possible. Just about the time I thought that was going to be chronic, I noticed it was gone- maybe about 2 weeks. I don't see an easy inexpensive way to get the scrotum removed other than find a plastic surgeon to do it as an elective procedure. Funny that insurance would pay to have artificial nuts installed but not to have the scrotum removed. It will be in your way initially but will become less of an issue with time.
