Congratulations Jcat!
In my case, they removed only one testicle…
I will see urologist in February to discuss this matter.

jcat (imported) wrote: Sat Jan 17, 2015 10:38 am So! I saw the man and after a lot of poking and prodding he has sugested that I should consider having both testes removed! 'Perish the thought' I said! Only Joking!
There is significant calcification and inflammation to the vas deferens and the best option is their safe and long awaited removal.
They need to do some further tests as I have other health issues too.
So finally I am so close to my goal I feel like having a party and I know many of my friends here will share my joy and elation at this progress. At Last!
EXCELLENT!! I'm very happy for you. I am sure you cannot wait for the day to arrive!:)

Re: Vas Deferens Spermatic Chord injections
Just checking in! My cords are definitely shrinking and pulling the testes up the inguinal canal, which is quite painful as they are very tender. It looks like I don't have balls now. No other news.

Re: Vas Deferens Spermatic Chord injections
I guess it is time I checked in!
I have known for some weeks that I am listed for surgery to remove one testicle and biopsy the other. So some progress at last. The cord that I injected is still very hard and enlarged (not painful at all), the testicle is very tender as there is a large mass growing in the center. For this reason it needs to go. It remains to be seen what the biopsy does. They had better hurry up as that one has all but disappeared!
I am of course elated by the progress. More importantly I hope that I will be able to give some feedback to this thread about the deferens injection.

Jcat, nice to hear from you on this matter!
I tried today, for the first time, to inject alcohol in remaining testicle and it leaked in to scrotum… still painful with enlarged epididymis. I’m not sure if I want to repeat this…
It was brave of you to inject in to Vas Deferens!

25G x 1" (0.5 mm x 25 mm)
I always do testicle injection from the top (epididymis head), seems hard for me to distinguish point of injection from the bottom. The top portion is hard; the bottom part is still alive. I only injected 0.4 ml (push on the plunger, resulted in it popping back at original position), start having burning sensation (like alcohol was squirting trough the injection site, trying to escape) and withdrew needle in panic.

The same has happened to me, the main thing to do is NOT to panic! If the tissue is hard you should try another site where the testicle is soft.
