It is now 8 days. No pain the cord is still swollen but not tender I had a good feel today the selling has gone done from the injection site upwards and just remains from the injection site down. I am tempted to do it again and I am trying to resist for at least a few weeks.

I think you should wait a bit. See what happens.

Hi Yoda! I know I should. I also enjoy the process of injecting into the darn things, it is very compelling. But, I am exercising restraint and learning patience!!

Still doing well, the testicle has gone down a bit with swelling, but the cord remains swollen, not painful, but tender if squeezed. Patience! I keep telling myself!

Hello Jcat! How are you doing? Any changes to the testicle you injected?

I am scheduled for inguinal orchiectomy (just one testicle) in mid-January! We agree that after removal urologist would cut testicle open (for inspection) and if there were a tumor, then the other would be removed as well. I guess I would have to do one more injection right before surgery…🙃 I am not that happy about injecting myself, as you are.😄

Hi GenChick, The testicle is shrinking a lot, it was very small before I did the CC injection to the VAS about the size of a grape. So iot is getting back to normal and pulled up tighter, the cord is still swollen and hard, so in the bath it feels like a lollipop! I think that it is really dead now and will need removing.

The injecting for me is addictive....I enjoy the destruction.....I am going to do the right....tonight. So two lollipops coming up!

Good luck, if you were nearer I would be happy to hold your hand.

Thanks mate! 🤗 I wish you the same in your wandering!

That is funny analogy, Jcat. 😄 Be careful, I don’t want you to miss VAS. I wish I could see the look on urologist face while he holds two lollipops in his hands! 🙄 Keep posted about your progress.

Oh yes, I am a clown in my spare time! I tried to inject the right but, the last injection to the testicle was 2CC really close to the epididymus and I think it went up the cord a bit and it has since sort of deflated and is really hard to get a grip of, like it has collapsed, so I did not risk it. However, so as not to waste a syringe of 1 CC I gave the testicle a final shot (I hope).

This has been an interesting experiment for me.

Just a quick update. The cord remains swollen and very hard, it is not painful. I do get aches in the testicle.....but had pain for years anyway, I think some of the pain is different. The cord is slowly pulling upwards. I have an ultrasound soon. Will report back soon.

Things are much the same. I have an ultrasound next week.

I found this article: http://www.hindawi.com/journals/criu/2013/645787/

It appears that the gist of this is that swelling of the cord can cause compression of the arterial flow into the the testicle, thereby having the same effect as a torsion or twisting of the testicle.

It is interesting to note that since my injection to the cord it has remained swollen and very hard and the testicle is shrinking and being pulled up into the inguinal canal, it is a slow progression.

What is interesting is that edema or swelling can cause infarction.

Any thoughts anyone?
