Every time I've worn my hair down I've gotten stared at for some reason. Maybe it's obvious that I don't know what the hell I'm doing and thus it doesn't look feminine for some reason?
(You get stared at you because they think you're pretty and cute! By both men and women for somewhat differing motives. Usually it's best to ignore but then again once I awhile you can smile back at them if you're sure of their motives.)
