POMPEII -

A slave turned gladiator searches for his one true love as Vesuvius explodes in 79 AD.

My comment is simple: It stinks like a day old dirty diaper.

1) am I glad I didn't pay to see this (it's on the "free" (sort of free) part of my cable)

2) the characters are superficial, the volcanic eruption is timed to dialog (cheesy), the fights look like kiddie fights with plastic swords, the weaponry itself looks like fake wood in the movie.

IF you want to see Pompeii in the time of the Roman Empire - go watch SPARTACUS on STARZ or SYFY or DVD or Internet.

That production company got storytelling so much better.
