It has been well over a year since I have posted anything about the funding of the Eunuch Archive. We have been fortunate in the past to have had some generous donors who have kept us afloat. It is time to renew the call for support – this place is paid for by you through your donations, large and small.

Our costs include our server fees (we actually are running 7 virtual servers), PO Box fee, licensing fees for software, and domain fees. No one gets paid for working here, so we’re getting by there.

We recently had a couple of generous donations at the MoM (Meeting of Members), both of whom asked to remain anonymous. For those in the US, we are incorporated as a not-for-profit educational organization – that means we are tax-deductible.

Donations of all sizes are welcome. If it fits your budget, it works for us. We prefer donations in US$, but will take other currencies, as well – there are fees for conversion.

We have had two responses via paypal so far. One is your own contribution. and one from Kevin (he didn't leave a user name). Thanks both. Still waiting to hear from others. I will be away for a week, so won't be able to check the mail box for a while, but I will check the paypal account during that time..

Licensing fees for software???

This fee is one the bank charges to convert foreign funds into dollars. Server costs would be the major expense. vBulletin charges to use their software; there are PO Box fees to pay each month and other reoccurring monthly expenses.

Many of us are stretched financially at the moment.

All I would ask it that people consider how much this forum means to them.

For me it has been a place of sanctuary since 2006 and helped me enormously in my struggles. So come on give what you can!
