What was the reason that you had your scrotum removed
I have a few questions for those of you who have had their scrotums removed either at castration or post castration.
1. Was it because the empty bag caused you discomfort.
2. Was it for aesthetic reasons.
3. Did you do it because a partner asked you to.
4. For those of you who have not as yet had their scrotum removed how many either want to have it done or are considering having it done and for which of the above reasons.
Also another question on a slightly different note. Would you consider having either a partial or total penectomy after being castrated and having your scrotum removed.

Castration leaves a wrinkly empty sack of skin. We get enough wrinkles as we age, don't need any more. I considered my unsightly, annoying and a nuisance to keep clean. It no longer served a purpose and it had to go.

Numbers 1 and 2. Actually, being empty and not getting smaller made it very uncomfortable. Also was harder to shave when empty. And Number 2, I wanted a smoother look between my legs. Now, if I could, I would also get rid of the penis but not necessarily for a vagina. Just the complete smooth look and feeling that would be had. Again, it sure would make shaving a lot easier also.

Mostly aesthetic for me. Smooth spot also easier to shave and keep clean than an empty sac, although my nutbag was cut off by my Dr. at same time he castrated me so I don't really have a "full sac" / "empty sac" experience to compare. There are a lot of sweat glands in the scrotum so getting it removed will keep you fresh smelling down there too. There is a loss of sensation when the scrotum is removed, because you won't have those muscles (the ones that retract and relax the bag) and skin to feel or play with. Also kinda wish I had kept the sac and gotten it pierced or inked up some. Another thing to consider too is that you will have less of a "package" when the scrot is removed and your dick will point straight down between ur legs without ur ballsac underneath it to buck it up, more so than just having ur stones removed.

1 and 2
Had only one testicle for long enough that the scrotum stretched on one side. Was told it would shrink but it didn't at all.
Average temp here in the summer is 35 - 40C with 80% or more humidity
So I had a lot of trouble with infection and skin issues.
However I had a massive bleeding issue with that surgery. So I would definitely have had it done a different way.

Re: What was the reason that you had your scrotum removed
After a year and a half since I was castrated through my abdomen, my scrotum has shrunk enough that I not longer need or desire to have it removed. Often I can barely notice it.
Re: What was the reason that you had your scrotum removed
I want mine removed. It is bothersome, especially in the hot humid summer. Esthetics are a consideration but not over-riding. OTOH, the only doctor I can deal with to do it gets failing grades for poor quality - excessive scar tissue is an issue. I will wait.

Re: What was the reason that you had your scrotum removed
As a guy who had retracted testicles for years the scrotum had shrunk as much as it ever would. Was never large to start with , but still left a loose floppy flap when it was warm. I simply hated the way it looked for years. Once the testicles went, there really was no reason to have it, and my very understanding urologist and I discussed it. She said to me do i have issues with skin rashes on it ? >wink wink< I answered yes and she coded the procedure in a way that my insurance paid all but 100.00 of the cost. Believe it or not getting that little flap of skin removed was a way worse procedure than having the testicles yanked out.
I love the smooth spot that resulted, and recently I was seen by a new partner at my doctor's office who apparently had not read my file. He was curious what it was like to have been born without testicles. LOL
As for the other question, I have long been fascinated by penis modifications, although I do only find them interesting if the result is attractive. The ones that look like an ax wound just make me cringe. I have toyed with the idea of doing something with the penis, but not seriously. Perhaps someday, but not in any hurry.

Scrotum was never that big to begin with. After castration, it has shrunken to almost flat. I'll keep my penis, thank you. I do like to pee standing up.

Re: What was the reason that you had your scrotum removed
Ok, the reason I asked was because I wanted some input from other members as to how and why they had things done. I would have preferred to have heard from more guys out there, but I guess I will have to be satisfied with the replies I have so far.
For me, My balls have been surgically removed and I now want to have my scrotum removed from the standpoint of comfort and aesthetics. Thanks raymar for your suggestion and I will follow up with my GP and see whether I can get my scrotum removed under Aus medicare, which will cost me nothing, so thanks mate, I appreciate the hint that you gave me.
As for my penis, I am considering having it shortened to where it will be about 1.5" long when erect and also have a ureostomy performed as well, as I suspect that if I stump my penis as I am considering doing, it will be too short for me to be able to stand and urinate.
The scrotum removal I would like to have done as soon as possible and then once that has healed up completely, I will then do some research into removing the front part of my penis. I know how I would like the front to be finished off as well. There is a method where the front of the stump is sewn in such a way that the front of the stump forms a vertical line with a bit of a protrusion on the top of the line. I have borrowed a link from one of the guys on Tribe.net and this is basically what I would like the finished stump to look like, maybe just a tad longer. http://tribes.tribe.net/penectomy/photo ... 048b3d0528
Any and all comments and suggestions welcome.
