Re: treatment for depression
Without knowing exactly where you are . . . how would anyone know who or what to recommend to you? There are several EA members who reside in CA; perhaps they will private chat with you. Good luck with that.
Without being 'mean' (I'm just terribly pragmatic); truly 'depressed' people who are addicted to substances, don't really 'want' help, because their 'condition' justifies their existence. If your 'condition' is your mantra, recovery is the enemy.
Many young people today expect to be extraordinary, and they get depressed when they find out they aren't. There's nothing wrong with being normal.
If you can pose a question on a web-site like this one, maybe you will not have to hit 'rock-bottom' before you seek help. Most people who do 'hit rock bottom', never get back up . . . without intervention.
You have access to the internet, so you must also have a telephone. Every burg that has telephone service will have telephone books. Look in your phone book for the 'Government Offices' or 'Community Services' pages for Mental Health Office(s), typically in the front few pages of the book.
If you are one of those who live by your mobile device, do a search for '(Your County), CA County Offices'.
Most counties in the lower states have Mental Health Services due to pharmaceutical, federal, and local grants; especially in the low income counties. There are also several free resources in some of the 'better-off' counties (especially in California); due to famous benefactors, public awareness, taxed voters, and drug companies.
All major cities in the USA that receive federal assistance will have these same types of resources. Sadly, they are not heavily advertised.
If you don't want to or are unable to do things for yourself, go into your local Department of Family and Children's Services, they can guide you to what local resources are available.
If you cannot find resources in your area listings, or from DFCS, here is a link to The California Health Care Services (http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/mh/Pages/MH_Prop63.aspx).
In this site you can access what California actually provides; Programs (http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/mh/Pages/default.aspx) and Services (http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/Pages/AllServices.aspx). Scroll through the alphabetical listings for Mental Health (http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/mh/Pages/default.aspx) and Adult Programs (http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/MH/Page ... dults.aspx); then (Mental Health and substance abuse (http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/MH/Pages/MHBG.aspx)).
Federal law says you are not required to have insurance to use 'community' resources. You may have to pay out-of-pocket 'what you can afford'; I don't know, each state is different. For example; most 'free clinics' here in Georgia require a 'flat fee' for general services, even though they are tax-payer funded.
Additional links;

Hope this helps.

Re: treatment for depression
I'm' waiting for personal size, consumer model
repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation unit aka rTMS
Failing response to standard therapy, ala Hoffman & Williams,
a Hallucinogenic experience should be considered.
Dick Cavett swears by Electro Convulsive Shock.
rTMS is thought to work in a similar but, more discrete manner,
whatever that is.
Primaro "Hypoglycemia Diet" really does help lots of nervous / depression stuff.
Amazing how much that clears up even in "non believers" if they just do it.

Find an Alcoholics Anonymous group in your area.
If you are posting things like this drunk and staying drunk too much then it is logical to try AA.
