I know there are many fellow Eunuchs out there, so why not connect...not just here, but in person in the real world as we travel and especially in the area where we live. I live on the East Central Coast of Florida and would love to visit with others in the area or travelers to the area. I hope everyone signs on to the idea and identifies their interest and location. There is also the MoM (Meeting of Members - held every August in the Minneapolis, St Paul area. It is coming up soon. We'd love to meet you. MoM's can be organized anywhere - just take charge and organize it - we'll support it here.

I believe that several years ago there was a MOM event on the east coast, as well as the west coast.

While the MoM is always a great time, there are other ways to meet up. Your profile says that you're 78 years-old and live somewhere in Florida. You might want to start a thread titled something like "Meet in Florida?" and give a proposed date (at least a month out) and the town/city/county for the meeting. Anyone interested can send you a Private Message and you can take it from there.

MoMs have been held at several locations around the country. On the West Coast, we have held them in San Diego, Santa Rosa, and Portland, Oregon. There was one held just outside Washington, DC. In the Midwest there have been a couple held at a park in Wisconsin, one held in "Hell," Indiana (Paolo's home town), and we're heading into the tenth annual gathering in the Minneapolis area.

Two have been attempted in England, but no one showed up, except the organizer, despite several others saying that they would attend. An attempt in Atlanta, when Kristoff and I were both there for a conference, had only one person show up.

My take on the matter after knowing and spending time with several eunuchs is that once the body parts count is over there may not be enough to maintain a friendship. Yes it is nice to meet but missing similar body parts will not insure compatibility. Having interests or hobbies in common might be a better reason to meet. As with all people, while eunuchs tend to be nicer, being a eunuch alone does not make you nice. I agree that a MoM is a nice way to meet. You can enjoy those you find interesting and avoid those whose personalities clash.
