I have no clue what I just watched in the Olympics.

It was exciting. It was fun.

It involved 3 teams of 4 women skating in a very tight oval tag-teaming each other for 36 (maybe 26?) laps. 3000 meters? But I have no clue what it was. There's another "heat" with another 12 crazy people. They vaguely skate in an oval and they seem to be pushing each other off periodically each lap.

Lots of fun but I still don't know what it was...

It was fun to watch and I could cheer for a team.

Not the I could figure out what was going on other than a race. But after a few matches everything clicked and it is funned exciting to watch.

It became one of my "go to" watches at the olympics.

Today's symphony was Beethoven's Piano Concerto #1 played by Jan Lisiecki who is the hottest new piano soloist on the planet. He's tall, thin, blond and 23 years old. Plus as his encore, he played Schumann's Traumerei.

Also, Henri-Joseph Rigel's Symphony No. 4. It's a baroque "Sturm and Drang" symphony.

The second half the symphony was Haydn's Symphony #98 which is tuneful and has that funky 4 bar pianoforte solo in the finale.

All of that conducted by Bernard Labadie of Canada.
