This is a very fun and quite fluffy, silly comedy. Be prepared for utter, old time crazy.
It is the story of a concierge and a lobby boy.
No booms, no bangs (except a gun fight between 30 or 40 hotel guests), one grand chase on skis and sled, several murders, chocolates, prison breaks, fancy parfume, a grand old hotel, and lots of fun.

Re: The Grand Budapest Hotel
I thoroughly enjoyed it, at tad melancholy perhaps in moments as it represented a world that no longer exists.
The old prewar Europe has passed on.
Still a great movie. Highly recommend it.
