I was just wondering if there was any idea of how long before we can see some new stories. I totally understand if the real people involved have lives, that was never in question. I just wanted to ask.
Thanks and keep up the great work keeping up the site and the forums!

Hey guys - yep totally agree with timyellow - no pressure at all - I know these things take time - but would be awesome for some more new stories if they are available - particularly missing Knobbyboy. Cheers boys - what an awesome job you do - thank you.

Re: New Stories
It always amazes me how people always see what they want to see and not what they don't. Yes, there hasn't been an update for over 3 months. Who is to blame? Pull out a mirror. Then go read Cainanite's post at: http://forums.eunuch.org/entry.php?601- ... ew-stories
He quite clearly points out the reason behind infrequent updates with low volume additions.
"You can either show your love for the authors by taking a few moments to write some nice words, and get the stories as quickly as they are submitted, or you can wait around until I bloody well feel like it and keep your feelings about the stories to yourself.."
Yes, I would love to see updates as well, but right now Cainanite is likely under the assumption everyone is leaning more on the "wait around until I bloody well feel like it" as there isn't any feedback being left. The only people that seem to ever leave reviews (the only payment authors receive to inspire them to continue writing and providing everyone new material) are myself and a scant few others. If you can't be bothered to take the time to let the authors know what you think, then don't expect them to continue and don't expect to see new submissions. Until then, quit complaining. You're digging the hole even deeper.

Re: New Stories
Is it not possible to pull some of the stories from the old site? There are still so many missing from what was there.

Re: New Stories
"
I really have to disagree with the notion of "not enough feedback". This story (https://eunuchworld.co/s14166) as an example is from January of this year, has two positive comments and 17 5-star ratings. Seems like plenty to me. The "not enough feedback" reasoning doesn't really even make sense, since the comments and ratings were only added after the site moved. That means literally thousands of stories were submitted to the site with no feedback at all, except for the board (which didn't have a lot as I recall).
A more logical explanation as to why we haven't had any stories since 3/25 is that Cainanite is very busy (I believe he posted about working a lot more). From his profile it seems he hasn't logged in since May 15th and as far as I know he is the only person reviewing stories right now. So unless the administrators of EA appoint an extra reviewer, don't expect any stories until Cainanite comes back.

Re: New Stories
I agree with mauler105, I've read and wrote many stories without giving or receiving any feedback at all, tha fact itself that people was reading daily my stories was more than enough, I enjoyed finding new stories on daily basis in the archive, the structure for submitting was much easier to use, but things change. Personally I don't think we're going to se any new post by Cainanite, so if anybody else will take care about the story archive we'll read new ones, otherwise the archive will be dead, as it seems to be now.
