It is amazing how quickly one is forgotten when they do not post for a while.

Well, I know there's one person who hasn't posted for 3 months now that I'm still scared to death about...

Admittedly, though, in internet culture, it's hard to tell when someone's left. There's rarely an official goodbye, they just kind of disappear, and then it's like "oh yeah, that person! They haven't been here for a while" when someone remembers.

Which person? There's someone I haven't heard from for a month, whom I think about every day.

Hash is the one I'm worried about. Not sure if Mac was thinking about him too or not, though.

You mean Hash? He is definitely not forgotten. It is just that we can not even check if he is okay. All we know is general location and a nickname.

There were many others who disappeared for some reasons. Some just go away for some reasons, others just end up disinterested, many reasons to disappear. With advances of computer science, we can't even be sure, if someone is a bot or not.

There are a number of people I miss. Of course they were members who I either closely related to or were very supportive. I miss thefraj, I miss BudleyBare but enjoy that he checks in from time to time. I miss some of the people I have met in person. Some of the wannabe's and mean spirited I do not miss. There are some people who post frequently that I try to miss them by not reading their posts. That is my real response for a cyber world that sometimes does not feel very real.
