The hidden world of self-castration and testicular self-injury

They are on to you! 😄

The eunuch Archive is even one of their references.

Abstract

Eunuchs are biological males who have undergone voluntary castration for reasons other than male-to-female transsexualism. The term 'eunuch wannabe' refers to individuals who desire, or are planning, voluntary castration. Out of fear of embarrassment or rejection, many eunuch wannabes do not consult medical professionals regarding their desire for voluntary castration. Instead, they commonly resort to self-castration, castration by non-medical professionals, or self-inflicted testicular damage via injections of toxic substances. Urologists should be aware of the growing popularity of these procedures. In particular, intra-testicular injection of toxins is performed so that urologists will remove the damaged testicles.

I would think that it would be a professional courtesy that if the Eunuch Archives requested a copy of the full article from the authors they would probably comply. Especially since they used the Archives as a reference.

To me, this article is very superficial and is probably not the result of any deep knowledge or research of the subject and may actually be damaging. I am basing this upon the use of the word 'voluntary'. I would suggest that very few eunuchs volunteer for castration. The majority accept the operation because of cancer or testicular pain. In their case acceptance does not mean that they undergo the procedure voluntarily they simply have no other viable option.

I believe it was Jesus who mentioned that something like 10,000 males are castrated each year in the US and that of those over 90% are castrated because of some medical condition.

I think a lot of ideas get warped through the prism of EA. The idea of how many men want to be castrated, if it would improve marriages, that women want it to happen to men...etc. On here castration on demand seems reasonable, to most the world it seems like something else.

I haven't read the article beyond the free preview. It doesn't surprise me that word would be getting out about Alcohol and Calcium Chloride injections. The threads are getting long in the tooth.

I've been around here long enough to understand a few things:

1) Cancer will get your testicles removed and/or on chemical castration. Prostate cancer mostly.

2) testicular pain won't get your testicles removed if the urologist doesn't want to do it. Even if the urologist is so inclined, they may take years to arrive at the removal if at all.

3) Gender confusion or body disorders and the wish to change sexes will not get most urologists to move to castration. Transgender people (male to female) have had an uphill battle until the DSM was changed and stopped considering homosexuals as mental deviants and transgender desires as morally bankrupt. They still face a battle but at least they aren't considered ill.

4) most urologists and family physicians do not understand or even believe that certain men don't want the influence of testosterone and would spend a life without it or at a very reduced level. Some are completely closed to the idea.

Just from a personal observation I think if voluntary castration was more easily obtainable in a medical setting there would be many more performed. Maybe not thousands but hundreds. Then again if it were easy to get there would likely be those that regret their decisions. Being very hard to obtain means putting much more thought into whether one really wants to be a eunuch.
