New Chatroom Address!!

Post by BossTamsin (imported) »

Unfortunately, the people that were providing our DDNS services for the chatroom (tzo.com) have been bought out by a new company called DynDNS, and as a result of this sale, are no longer offering tzo.com domains. This means that 'darkstar1.tzo.com', the address that the chatroom has used for over a decade now, is no more. It will definitely be missed.

On the plus side, the chatroom does have a new address, eamain.hopto.org, and the new address has been registered for two years. So, from now on, for those of you who use 'real' IRC clients, please use the new address, eamain.hopto.org. (Still port 7000, though.)

One last time, the new address is eamain.hopto.org, port 7000.

You can't link settings that have to be manually input into an IRC client's software.

Sadly, I do not know how to do it from my PC

I haven't been on IRC forever and ever. Several Windows versions ago. 🙋
