If this guy was suicidal then being publicly ridiculed is the last thing he needs. By publishing this they basically have condemned him to death.
There should be a law that suicide attempts are not considered newsworthy. Rights such as free press don't extend to doing harm to people without a public's need to know. If the President were to attempt suicide it would be newsworthy, but a guy like this there is no ethical justification to publicize this guys embarrassment.
Journalists are by nature scumbags and are more interested in selling advertising than anything else.
The president would never try to commit suicide, he is a politician and they all have narcissistic personalities and are too vain to ever try harming themselves. Politicians are the second catagory in my most despised list next to journalists. I won't go not number three as there are probably some of this profession on this forum.
