Androcur and birth control
I have a potentially stupid question. I am planning on starting Androcur after my wife gets pregnant again. My question is after the baby comes will we need birth control or will the Androcur take care of it? It would be nice if there was no longer a need for her to take her bc pill as it doesn't do nice things to her body.
Thank you for your help.

Is she troubled by how the pill affects her body or is it you? I hope you are being compassionate for her.

We both don't like it. The cramps get so bad when aunt Flo comes to town. After our daughter was born you could hardly tell, but when she started back on the bc it got bad.

I can understand now why you want if for you and for her. Androcur can have some long term side effects and I wonder if you have not considered a vasectomy?

Re: Androcur and birth control
Ah. Sorry. I now see that my intro is no longer posted. I have wanted to be castrated sense I was young. You could say it's a life long goal of mine. I want to start with chemical castration for about a year and see were it takes me. If after a year I still want to get cut I will cross that bridge. I doubt that I will dislike chemical castration. Aside from breast growth and depression I can live with the side effects I have already read about. Only time will tell. As far a the birth control question: I have red that sterility is a common side effect of Androcur but what I want to know is if I can count on becoming sterilize while on Androcur or if I should invest in condoms? Both my wife and I are allergic to latex and truly hate the way they smell and feel. Sorry for not telling you about the back story. I honestly thought it was still posted.

I wouldn't rely on that ''method''. I seemed to be becoming sterile while on Triptorelin but then the amount of ejaculate started to increase again. It shouldn't be this way but it can happen...

Invest in condoms, assuming you are able to get it up. Using Androcur is no guarantee of sterility.

Thank you for finding my intro. In the future I think I should attach a link to it in my posts so as to avoid confusion.
