I never have anything to post in this thread because in some small (or not so small) way most of my days resemble "one of those days". And, of course, there is nothing quite like a good, affectionate anal probe. --FLO--

yep one of those days, with all the other things going right for a change my tablet took a shit. dead as a hammer. the good news is that all my books that I bought on Amazon are in the cloud so I did not loose them. my games however all free ones are gone.

oh well.

A week and a half ago, my cheap computer went goofy and I have to buy a new one.

a) I didn't need that expense now because I owe $2900 in IRS and State taxes. Don't ask.

Then I had to update my modem on my cable service because the old modem didn't WIFI.

b) This morning I woke to no phone service because the cable picked up the phone and the phone company shut their service down.

Like dudes, couldn't you wait a day?

SO I Get this box delivered today and spend an HOUR (60 minutes) getting the service back on - phone and WIFI.

Guess what . . .

Within one hour of the new phone service I got two phone calls (from the same person) asking for "RICK" and hanging up when I said "you have the wrong number"

and finally,

c) there's no battery in the modem so it doesn't have a "battery" backup. I have to buy one, yet.

My tumble dryer caught fire and nearly burned the house down. Best of all it is 8 years old and the manufacturer is going to give me a full refund and take it away for analysis!

That beats me hands down. I haven't burnt anything in my house since that steak that ended up rather well done from being left too long under the broiler -- tasted good but crispy on the outside.

In terms of "IT'S BEEN ONE OF THOSE DAYS"

Today was good.

I received confirmation that a legal matter that I paid for 20 years ago was done properly and will never again cause me to worry.

So today is "good!" Officially good.

It's not neato-wonderful, unicorns are prancing through my dreams GOOD but merely "good!"

It only gets worse.

Once cleaned and reloaded with new chemicals, the printer tore an uptake sleeve on the bottom of the rack, which will take a full day to fix, as the rack has to be totally disassembled.

My $300 flatbed scanner doesn't work with Windows 7, no driver exists.

And on top of that, it seems impossible to file state income taxes in Indiana.

I guess I'm going to jail soon.
