15 c. historic fiction

Post by Mortimer (imported) »

In the year 1444 the united armies of Hungary and Poland, led by Janosh Hunjady and the young Polish king Vladislav, were crushed by the Ottomans near the Black sea port and fortress of Varna. Hunjady escaped from the battlefield and king Vladislav was murdered.

However in the Polish folklore there is a version, that the king was not killed, but was struck on the head and was left unconscious. After the battle he was found by the sultana who admired him (22yo) and was secretly smuggled into the harem, where he lived for many years, serving her.

Come on, guys, use your imagination of his transformation into a serviceable white eunuch!
