This depends on your doctor. Some want to remove them others prefer not to cut and let them be absorbed by the body.

Some of it depends on you also as mine (I used Calcium Chloride) one was removed 4 weeks after first injection but the other one I injected 2 more times and it shrank to the size of the end of my little finger and never did absorb. I lived with it dead for 3.5 years no real problem except I didn't like the fact it still existed and talked the doctor who was administering my T (he is a surgeon) to remove it. His words were it had been dead for a long time when he removed it so as long as for some reason it doesn't get infected you can leave them but if you are like myself the idea that they are still there will eat at you. As a side note my remaining one that was left was pulling up real high and the doctor said it would pull up into the pubic area which mine could only pull up so far due to a bilateral hernia repair I had had so it was starting to irritate some due to the fact it couldn't keep retracting so there are a lot of factors.

Today I took my second injection of Everclear 1 1/2 cc in each testicle. The pain is tolerable and only in my abdominal area. Teste are swollen. Hopefully a few more injection will shrink and kill off the Leydig cell My question is and hope you or someone can reply to me. Must I have what is left of my dead atrophy's testicles removed. I know everyone is different but how many injection of 1 1/2 cc does it take to begin to see shrinkage and hardness of my testicles. I would want to inject and shrink them down to maybe a cherry and not have them die and not have my testicles surgically removed. Anyone have any idea. If they do die must they always be removed.

Please help me. I did 1 1/2 cc of everclear into each testicles every two weeks. I get slight pain mostly in my abdomen. The issue I have there is no shrinkage or testicle hardness. Each time I inject, they get more swollen. Bigger & bigger. I went from a walnut to the size of a extra large egg. Is this normal and will I see shrinkage soon.

That was my experience also, and it is likely caused by imflamation to the testicles and cords by introduction of a foreign substance. My abdominal discomfort, tenderness in the testicle cords lasted several days after each and between injection. It took several injections bi-weekly to observe noticeable hardness and shrinkage in the testicles, and even then, the rate was significantly different between the right and left testicle. Be patient!
