Hey River

Do you have an emergency Anchor ? Just in case. 🙄

copy / pastes of stories searched and limited to the last 1 hour.

14 mins ago - The threat on Hawaii from the tropics will not end with Iselle as Hurricane Julio continues to head to the west-northwest across the Pacific this week.

28 mins ago - With Iselle, Hawaii is expected to take its first direct hurricane hit in 22 years. (River)... Hurricane Julio strengthens into Category 3 storm

Meanwhile, the weather of the EA :hearthrob Land seems moderate if not pleasant. (River's no longer there)

Yes River's Pagan deities have followed him to Hawai'i having felt abandoned, no doubt.

And sometimes, a dot is just a dot.

Then their is coincidence, on to synchronicity and finally cause and effect.

I've been resetting my sprinkler timer so I could finish this upload, I guess I better shut it off now :tongueout

Being closest to River as the crow flies, I can say from here, thinks look fine.

"Hawaii residents preparing for the first of two hurricanes swirling toward the islands got whacked by another natural hazard on Thursday when a 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck, shaking people on the Big Island as they boarded up their homes. . . "

With the pressure gradients of the hurricanes and the earthquakes too,

the volcano is gonna blow it's granite cork and floweth over, or just blow itself into a big interior lake on the island.

Stay tuned for River reports as he is able, Lord Willing.

Come in River.

Remember Byrd at the South Pole.

Alone, freezing, intoxicated on fumes and still got the reports out that

it still looked like Winter in Antarctica.

Does it yet storm ? Has Hawai'i changed its' above water land mass ?

a) That's way to lurid and just plain wrong.

b) the Huffington Post LiveBlog has updates of the two storms.

Hurricane Iselle has passed over Hawaii near the city of HILO and gone back out to sea already.

http://www.admiralbyrddiary.com/TheMaster/index.php

Byrd returned to Antarctica in 1933-1935. He spent 5 months in solitude at Advance Base, making careful meteorological and auroral observations. This expedition nearly cost him his life when he was stricken by carbon monoxide fumes. Rescued in August 1934, Byrd could not return to Little America II until 2 months later. He wrote about this expedition in Discovery (1935) and later in Alone (1938).

Prevaricate as you may, Dave, I do believe you owe an apology on this one.

I am really, really concerned about River.

I mean I just got online about 3 hours ago and checked out this thread for River's Well Being,

and inconveniences that somehow bring joy to my heart. Just like his Winters of before.

Yes Dave, I do believe you owe me an apology.

I didn't say Byrd was lurid only that your description of the hurricane was too lurid.

And I don't doubt your sincerity or concern about Riverwind.

Doubt as you care. :tongueout

I'm closer to River than you are. :tongueout :tongueout

About 3K miles closer.

From here, the Pacific coast, looking west toward Hawai'i it is dark.

Well it is 10:30 PM + .🙄

Just consider the topography of the geography

that wrings water out of clouds over sunrise facing shores.

That's how River acquires his daily watering.

Now y'gotta understand as that hurricane with water laden clouds

slammed on to the volcano and mountains with thunderous forces releasing

torrents, no not bit torrents, aqueous torrents, more like rapids of water happened

over RiverLand.

River is inconvenienced but, not out of action. Well maybe a little more out of action than Byrd.

River could still get back to Western Wisconsin in time for a safe Winter.

Does anyone know different ?

River likes Moi better too !

I read on the one website that Three Herd of Spamalo were washed out to see. Witnesses report that the winds were too strong and gave the little critters a blow job right into the briny deep.

Think of it, a few hundred thousand years in the future some archeologist will find Spamolo skeletons in the Pacific Desert and theorize about the flora and fauna of ancient Hawaii.
