The UGLIEST and I mean absolutely UGLIEST sweater or hoodie that the USA Athletes are wearing sold out in seconds on the internet.

Everyone should know that the fish is supposed to be in bite-size chunks if it is to be served over oatmeal. Juiced fish goes into soups and stews....

One of my coworkers who decided to have "happy time" and overindulged with the Saki at the final banquet for a large technical conference in South Korea described the next days breakfast buffet with some dread (now that he got back in the USA).

It started with rice and soup and fish and raw egg yolks (for some reason I remember that because he looked queazy when he said it), and there was sushi and cooked fish and other things westerners don't think of as breakfast food.

There was nothing like toast or sugary cereal or donuts or croissants or sausage or bacon or anything like that stuff we westerners call comfort food.

My bowels quiver in fear at the thought of fish on oatmeal.

I'm getting hungry just reading about your co-worker's breakfast. I've lived in both Japan and Korea and his sounds like a proper Japanese version, not Korean. The raw egg is supposed to be mixed into the steaming hot rice, where it cooks and then holds the rice together. Much better tasting and much better for you than all of the sugary things that Americans seem to crave.
