Cats drool, Dogs rule or viceversa

Post by foxytaur (imported) »

This is a silly thread. Any of you guys noticed doge memes popping up lately?:D

Guess LOLcats has met its match.😄

In other news psychology tests the boundaries between cats and their owners. Turns out cats aren't as enthusiastic about their owners compared to their dogs. Yes.......cats can be assholes about many things it turns out.

And then there is Rupert,

OK I admit when I went out today for several hours when I returned my dog cried, jumped up and down did a flip and could not contain herself. Rupert on the other hand mewed at me but it was so I could fill his treat bowl.

Its not that Rupert does not greet me when I come in, he greets everybody when they come in, a few weeks ago Talula came over and Rupert went right up to him where he was picked up and given his do as all cats expect. Rupert just loves everybody and anybody that comes in the door who is not me is a potential giver of treats so therefor someone to be nice to.

I would say that this study is about right, with Rupert its always about what I can give him, not the other way around, where as Nelly is all about what she can do to please me.

and me, I would expect no less.

I find dogs to be an emotional stress reliever for me when I'm feeling down, coming home from work, school etc...This is mostly true for my pomerianian

Ohh gods but my chihuahua is terrible!!!!! BC she wasn't properly trained she's an asshole to everyone.

Be careful about owning these little rats with fur. They're adorable but all cudley and cute things have their drawbacks.

NB: Our chihuahua got grounded last week. She took a dump inside my sisters $800 designer boots

Every morning, I try lay still as long as I can because at my first moves

Up comes big Solly 🐈 kitty, he is huge & growing at 15 - - - meowing and head butting more than any cat I have known.

So I give him some personal time and kitty love, his style and our moment ends.

It is not about food because, he does not repeat this behavior if I go back to sleep.

NO moi, the reason he leaves you alone is Cats don't pursue pray after the sprint.

Translated for MOI, The cat will try to wake you up for treats, he has success your awake then you pet him, so far so good, then you go back to sleep, he knows when he has lost, just like the big cat on the Savannah, time to rest and try again later. He will stay just as long as you feed him, if you forced him to get his own food by catching a mouse, he would be gone because you are of no further use to him.

BTW I would bet Rupert would be the same way.

Poodles do that too, I have a little rat, rat terrier, I wanted a chihuahua but ended up with Nelly, I know they can be a little hard headed at times. (understatement).

Got one of each that drools.

You cannot stereotype them. The cat hangs out with the dogs. Apparently, she thiinks that she is a dog or the dogs think that they are cats. The end of the world must be near. Or not...

You know animal behavior is unpredictable as is. Especially when nurture kicks in its hard to describe how they'll behave BC so much entropic variation occurs all the time.

I guess I stick to canines BC it best describes my fursonality and reminds me I'm a anthro trapped in a human body seeking to transform into a humanoid creature.

Dunno but perhaps my canine motivation started early when I assimilated myself to lots of cartoons during the 90s which were very furry in nature. Even in preschool you had shows like the world of Richard scary featuring hucko cat and his worm buddy

Make no mistake furries transcend the human world.

My pets somehow influence my identity to a certain extent. I have dreams where if I died right now I'd hope to reborn as a transgender lady vixentaur somewhere in a galaxy far far away.
