I finally watched the first episode a few weeks ago... and today I'm starting on season 4. I rarely watch hour-long dramas, but damn, this show has me.
I'm STILL pissed that Jimmy had to die (I mean, as much as I loved the character, I must admit, Nuckie HAD to kill him) and that Elie was allowed to live (yeah, yeah, blood thicker than water... he's better now it seems, but come on; he's been a whiney little bitch to his brother even AFTER he suggested killing him! He's a complete bastard, but he's starting to grow on me).
The last three episodes (especially the last one) of Season 3 were something else, though, eh? What a war!
Oh, and is the dude who's playing Al Capone balls-out perfect or what? He's matured the roll since his introduction (He's taken Capone from a man-child idiot to a fun-loving (if blood-thirsty) businessman).
Final point / question / observation: Is Richard the most awesome dark horse in TV history or WHAT?! I want Nuckie to hire him sooo bad but right now it looks like he's retiring... a pity. What a stunning roll. I'm in awe.
Is anyone else watching Boardwalk Empire and loving it?

I am pissed of about the death of Mr. Harrow.
They could have let him retire to whatever contentment he might know with a family.
I guess the in vogue thing to do in these series is kill of characters ala GoT.
Also, the seasons are just too short

I mean that this week's episode was a finale and they haven't told a seasons worth of story.
The good news in January, February bring new Seasons of Banshee, Justified and The Americans.
Moi
REMEMBER: This Thread is NOT about Banshee, Justified or The Americans
And don't forget AHS:Coven - this thread is not about that either.

Way to go Moi... some people have not seen that episode yet.
And the way they left it... who said Richard is dead?
I did love the long game that guy used on Gillian though.
To Stefanisme, Jimmy will be back at the end of Season 4.

From the description on IMDb, it sounds as if it is a program that focuses on criminals and the crimes they commit. It might even glorify the criminals. I do not like that type of drama. I have not watched any episodes of this show.
I do like crime dramas that focus on intelligent, competent detectives who solve crimes. I currently enjoy Major Crimes, The Mentalist, and Elementary. In the past I have liked Sherlock, Sherlock Holmes, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Lie to Me.

A great show! Steve Buscemi is just fantastic. Was a bit disappointed what happened to Eddie and would like to see more of Nelson Van Alden. They started showing more of him and his relationship with his wife and it looks interesting.
