First Steps - Sit to Pee
I realize that one of the things that a man must give up to pursue a eunuch lifestyle is his standing up to pee. I feel that one of the first steps in achieving a eunuch lifestyle would be to have an urethral reroute, requiring one to have to sit to pee. I realize there are some other threads out there about this. But, I am looking for insight from other who have done this or those who are preparing to go this route. I am ready to take the initial step, but am looking for recommendations on how to find and approach the right doctor who is willing to do the procedure.

Sit to pee? Some of us do, and some of us don't. I identify the eunuch state as being without testicles.
Do i also need or want a reroute? sometimes it seems attractive, but folks here warn of UTI infection risks with it. There are lots of wise folks here, get some of their wisdom before doing anything big.

Re: First Steps - Sit to Pee
You don't need a urethral reroute in order to be able to sit to pee. However, I believe that it would make the process easier as you would not have to worry about directing the urine stream. The danger of getting a UTI would not be much greater than it is for women. You just have to exercise caution when you wipe. However, women have their labia to help protect the urethra from bacteria.
I have not had a reroute but have sat or squatted full-time since sometime in 1997. As time goes by it becomes more natural for you and I no longer even think about doing it any other way. Sitting takes a little longer than standing but has other advantages. The biggest problem is the lack of an adequate number of stalls in some men's public restrooms.
If I could find a some way that my doctor would say I needed castration and a total penectomy with a urethral reroute and the procedure would be covered by my insurance I would not have any doubts about getting it done.
Neither choice is right for everyone so be sure it is right for you before you do anything.

Re: First Steps - Sit to Pee
A doctor once told me that if you get up to pee in the middle of the night, after age 40, you should sit to pee anyway. He told me that the most common cause of injury to men, after age 40, is loss of hydrostatic pressure in the body when draining the bladder in the middle of the night causing a faint and fall in the often cramped and hard edged confines of a bathroom. Haven't seen any statistics on this, but I don't take any chances anyway.

I piss sitting down at home since I clean the bathrooms. I piss standing up while walking my dog. I piss standing up in public restrooms at urinals or if no dividers in the toilet stalls.

Sit down at home, avoid outside when possible but do not stand, do not use urinals, last time I used a toilet without stall walls and doors was during basic training in the Air Force.

Sorry but as a 15 almost 16 year non T eunuch I piss where I will in whatever manner I choose. The nice thing about becoming my true self is I answer to no one.
