What age is best?

I'm new to all of this, and although I've always toyed with the idea of not having to put up with my balls, I've only recently begun to research the idea, and I can't seem to find any information on what age would be best to be castrated? the younger the better? I see some of the older guys say they aren't as affected by the castration because older men have lower testosterone to begin with...

if anyone could point my in a good direction as far as information goes, or chime in with their own thoughts would be great!
