Chemical castration, reasons to do it?
I am taking dutasteride (0.5mg) as well as Cyproterone acetate (50mg) everyday, Also I have spirolactone (25mg) just incase but havent used it often, I am soon going to add depo-provera 150mg probably once a month or two months. So far I feel 80 to 90% castrated which is great. My problems were being single and only being able to access intimacy via escort (hoes) services which costs lots of money. I am now much better financially, mentally and feel calm its a peaceful feeling. Its next to impossible getting a girl because they technically can choose out of lots of men, I just wanted to know what are your reasons for chemical castration ?

Sexual frustration. I'm 26 y.o., virginal, never kissed, dated a girl once (back in 2008) and two guys last year. I'm on my way to chemical castration through Triptorelin, a GnRH agonist.

@Jorge2008 26 is a bit young to take such drastic measures I (Girl) was over 30 when I had sex for the first time. In this hectic life often people do not settle down before they are 30.
So why did you give up hope so soon, I am also asking this to shadow1ninja.
P.s. English is not my native language so forgive me any typing errors.

Re: Chemical castration, reasons to do it?
Girls have an unlimited supply of men to choose out of, they can get relationships/intimacy within seconds/minutes. Especially online dating they would get more attention then they wanted or in clubs, pubs and anywhere else. It is the exact opposite for a male. I only have access from massage places where payment is given for sexual services. I lost my virginity at 16 years old from a prostitute which was satisfying for the time I paid with her (1hour). I have been going since 16, now I am 22, until this year I was free from it, taking dutasteride and Cyproterone medications, however some of my attraction to women is still present. I plan to take depo injection soon. I haven't lost hope. I accepted reality. The massage place that the girls work at makes lots of money and gets lots of customers. Not every man in this world will get a girl to love them this I know is a fact. I hope others can relate or agree?

Re: Chemical castration, reasons to do it?
I had no option. My psychiatrist asked, if I had considered using prostitutes, I answered that it was way too expensive plus I was afraid of getting some nasty disease from them. My life was a hell from the age 20 on, when my libido started to run riot. It became painfully obvious by the end of the spring semester of 2008 that no girl is interested in me, but I needed sex so bad that I kept masturbating 5 times a day plus started drinking to relieve the frustration. So for me getting rid of the excessive drive has been a real blessing, after 5 years I now feel that I can enjoy life again.

Re: Chemical castration, reasons to do it?
Some time men's libido can get really annoying. Testosterone is more powerful than estrogen for sex drive. Men unlike women, men get erections that can be embarrassing some time. They masturbate to get rid of their erections and the erections return in few minutes. Masturbation is not as good as sexual inter corse, so the relief doesn't last as long. I used to masturbate at bed time and some time I would wake up an hour or so later with an erection, some time I had to dress and go down town to have sex. I had such an urge to fuck and cum that I'd pick up anybody. Often I had unprotected sex with total unknown, whom, I later found out they died of AIDS. I was scared to death of catching AIDS. I had castration fantasy since puberty, so when I first hook up to internet, my first search was about castration and I found some informations about chem castration, this was in 1995 and I decided to go for it before it was too late for me. I used Saw Palmetto for 8 years non stop. Thanks god I've never been infected with AIDS. I can no longer produce testosterone and I must relay on TRT since 2004. but I have no regrets of what I've done other wise I wouldn't be here today to tell you this.

Wow, then this was the right course for you. I am not sure if it has been the decline of my own T that I have started to think this way about castration or is it more of a deeper commitment to become even more submissive around men for the rest of my life. I haven't been used for sex in years so maybe this is another reason for my castration thoughts. I guess its my way of achieving some sort of peace within myself. Thank you for sharing a small part of yourself. Peace.

Re: Chemical castration, reasons to do it?
@shadow1ninja. It is not unusual for am male to retain some attraction to females (if that is his preference) after castration. Removal of hormones does not in all cases mean the complete end to feelings of attraction. I think that some attraction may become internalized after a period of time. You should not try to do the impossible by eliminating all feelings associated with desire. The subject is vast and complicated so my best advice is to not cause yourself undue stress when it is not necessary. --FLO--

Re: Chemical castration, reasons to do it?
I do not fully understand the castration effects, its reduced libido to a low point however I am thinking is it possible to eliminate all attraction to females by continuing the medications>? what does it mean to be a full Eunuch?
