Yes a hot topic that many of us would love to talk about, an issue that I think both left and right would agree on, however the political section had to go. Sorry I feel the pain too.

Well, you could screen not only the threads posted, but you could screen each reply before it went onto the thread. Also, you could have a 5 day time limit on all threads and then just close them. Maybe this could even be done automatically.

It is your call. No need to make yourself uncomfortable. As far as the political Board goes, I don't come here as often, but I still post from time to time. Good friends are always joyful to be around.

We considered several options even to keeping it with a password so as to not effect the rest of the board but in the end it was decided correctly I might add to close it. Of course we do have a heading where politics can be talked about if it relates directly to this community.
