Uvula?

Post by Paolo »

My uvula seems to have shifted recently. This tickle in the back of my mouth, I have determined, is being caused by my uvula having extended a bit. It's now touching the base of my upper throat and it's very annoying.

It doesn't seem inflamed or infected. It's nice and pink. I gargle every day, too.

I would say this is a strange post, but you know, given the nature of EA, that's a relative term.🙋

Knowing you, maybe not.

I think it's time to cut the damn thing down to size. Have Talula get a long tipped soldering iron ready for the MOM.

Can you move it at will?

Like wiggling it?

Or stroking?

Glossophyngeal cranial nerve damage, (#IX) can do that.

So can an abscess behind the tonsil.

G'luck :)
