Hi all,
Need some advice here. I'm climbing out of some pretty serious depression, but I'm doing very well on Welbutrin. I still certainly plan to become a eunuch and beyond (dr. Arnkoff!), just from my dislike of the physicality alone of male genitals. However, I'm still unsure whether or not testosterone is for me, and I know that low T in individuals prone to depression can be detrimental. All of my past chemcast trials have been interrupted by some circumstances beyond my control. However, coming up I have four plus months of time where I will not be in school and on my own away from my ultra conservative family, so I'm thinking this is the time for a real trial, truly get down to castrate levels for a while and see how it feels. I'm still a bit apprehensive about how this will affect my depression. It is pretty well vanquished by the Welbutrin, and my research indicates no known interference between anti androgens and Welbutrin (although Tamoxifen has some serious consequences, good thing I did the research!). Does anyone have any experiences or advice to share?
I'm pretty sure that I will end up wanting to keep testosterone, so I'm more curious than anything, as well as hating erections.
On a side note, as far as anti androgens go for price and efficacy, would you recommend Androcur or Depo Provera?
All best,
J.

I think you need to be very careful and make sure that a friend keeps an eye out to see if you are getting depressed. Sometimes you don't notice it until you are very low. But as long as you stay on the anti-depressants you should be ok. Good luck with it.
