I had surgery yesterday they removed the right testicle completely they cut it open and it was like a good full of calcium Chrystals from all the years of damage the left epididymitis was calcified and 8 mm in diameter he told me he would have removed it at 3 mm he also removed the vasdeferens as far as the abdomen removed the nerves also the only thing he left is the left testicle and blood supply and said if I'm still having problems in 2 months he will remove it.

Week post op all bad major swelling cut blood flow off to scrotum around multiple surgical sites causing skin to die in multiple areas and rotting and leave eating wounds. Now I'm having to care for that with instructions from the doctor and to make things worse the meds recked my. Stomach and I haven't been able to eat or drink anything Dr stopped meds yesterday and gave me something for the nausea today but I still got sick when I tried to eat dinner I've lost 8 in a week and feel and look horrible. Be careful what you wish for.

Also the surgery was alot harder that the doctor thought he scheduled for 2.5 hours and it took almost 4 hours and everything had to be cut out manually all the way from the pelvic bone to the scrotum the whole inlingual canal had to be cut open to remove my right testicle with everything in to the pelvis and reconstructed will hundreds of dissolvable stitches plus what was needed on the outside I have a drain that starts at my upper pelvis and run between my legs through my insides on the right side the left side I have two large insisions and one drain existing between my legs he was able to work on the left side through the scrotum removing a 8 mm epididymitis then removed the vasdeferens testicular nerves on to the lower abdomen leaving the testicle and blood supply intact resulting in a pain free left testicles that's the size of a tennis ball. He said we'll know in a couple of months what were going to do. Could be surgery again I don't understand why he didn't take it has been that size since since December 29 2019 and hasn't changed yet isn't permanently damaged? I was already sterile and on trt so why?

Sorry to hear your surgery and after are so rough. Don t be reluctant to keep seeing your dr as much as needed as you heal if anything changes or feels wrong. That s a lot of potential infection and bleeding to watch out for.

Hope you heal up OK with less pain in days to come.

Just got home from the urologist office was bleeding and dead black areas got worse called them and they said get in there ASAP I was there in 1 hour and went back to the office surgery undressed from the waist down and waited a little bit and the doctor came in and asked me how I was doing and looked at the scrotum and knew the answer we talked a little bit and then he started to cut away the dead skin with out anything to numb me and I didn't feel anything he cut on me for an hour removing the dead tissue inside and outside of the scrotum even removing dead tissue from the left testicle I was able to look inside of my right scrotum then when all the dead tissue was removed he irritated the open wounds and packed the right side with treated gauze and stitched it up and did the stitching on the left side of the scrotum then they numbed my scrotum and cleaned it with betadine that's when I couldn't breathe and my heart was racing and I was literally headed they checked me out and put cold compresses on my head and neck and told me to take deep breaths. Everything was ok I just think my body had hit it's pain threshold after an hour of non stop abuse with out any pain intervention. I know he needed to know where the dead tissue ended and the living tissue started and the best way is through feeling so I was willing to endure it.

Holy shit Chesly!! Thats evil! When I banded my scrotum and cut it off there was quite alot of necrotic tissue and a 3x4 inch open wound. I was put under general anesthetic to debride and close it. Its about a 4 inch diagonal scar now. I hope you are feeling better

You have incredible toughness to endure all that ! Most men couldn t stand all that pain and watching the dr work on them like that. I hope your dr is having you come in daily or twice a day to check for any more dead tissue and loading you up on antibiotics to stop this infection before it takes even more tissue from you.

I will be having the right side opened and repacked with antibiotic coated gauze every 3 days and restiched hopefully with numbing this time I can't go through with out it anymore I'm having emotional problems now after yesterday I lost a 1/3 of my scrotum and it has effected me with the extra tissue removed from the left testicle yesterday and loosing the right side a week ago.
