Re: Epididymitis
12/31/18 thing are settling down no more added swelling or pain feels heavy and I have to walk with legs spread wide and they still touch. Looked up epididymitis and learned that the swelling could take up to two months to go away.

Re: Epididymitis
I've had epididymitis and orchitis on and off for 5 yrs. The quickest it ever cleared up was 2 weeks and the longest about 4 or 5. I never had any really big swelling but I had a constant dull ache and it was uncomfortable to walk any distance. Antibiotics did seem to work particularly at the beginning but I'm not so sure now. I've had 3 different doctors in the last 3 years as a result of moving jobs, they all said different things about it.

Re: Epididymitis
Epididymitis SUCKS!!! I had it for about a month and a half (took that long to go away) and I swore each day either my balls were going to explode from the swelling (which would have been OK at that point), I was going to keel over from the pain (which would have been OK at that point), or I was going to rip the damned things off (which would have been OK at that point). Two months later, it was completely gone. It SUCKED!!!

Re: Epididymitis
I've been dealing with chronic epididymitis since I was 19 years old and it just keeps coming back I'm 52 years old and am going thru the worst attach yet I didn't know I could swell that big without exploding and the pain was the worst that I have ever experienced and I've had a ruptured appendix. So the ER doctor wanted
was on vacation that was on 12/29/18 and I couldn't get into see him until 1/9/19 I'm still in pain my left testicle is swollen and has a large hard mass on it now the right side is 4 times normal size and is hard as a rock. I've gone thru this in lesser degrees thru the years and it just gets worse each time. I'm in pain all the time to some extent and was told in the past I just had to deal with it. After many years I finally got a urologist that I think will do something he is part of the cleavland clinic I'm going to tell him I want them removed I've suffered with this for to long and I think there is something seriously wrong with them I'm afraid of testicular cancer.

Re: Epididymitis
All the best Chesleyt! you deserve the result. It is hard to describe how it felt to wake up from my surgery with no ball pain atall. Euphoric?

Re: Epididymitis
It's supposed to be 2100ng/dl
That is not a valid result. More likely to be 210 ng/dl not ml

Re: Epididymitis
I've been on trt for over a year and a half I've been taking 200 mg testosterone injection a week but since my flare up of epididymitis it's been over two weeks since I have had an injection. My testicles haven't been working right since my early 20's and I was on the patch when I was as married and I quit it around 29 years old because of skin irrigation and I didn't care about sex anymore. I started trt 1.5 years ago because I felt like shit and was tested with testosterone levels around 180 free testosterone

Re: Epididymitis
I just saw my urologist today and I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning to have both epididymitis removed but my right side is so bad he can't feel where the epididymitis and testicles separate and thinks he is going to have to remove it. He said from the 29 years of damage the epididymitis are all calcified my left testicle is hard as a rock he said and he said he would of have removed both testicles if he didn't have protocols to follow. So he is going to remove the epididymitis the nerves the vasdeferens and only leave the testicle with the artery and blood vessel intact and if in 2 months it didn't work he will be removing the testicles or testicle if I only have one left.
