I've not had one of these in years, literally. At least, not one so bad that it was debilitating. I woke up at 330 this morning with my head throbbing so badly that it literally felt like my teeth were moving!
What I can't figure out is what brought it on, unless it was the change in weather. The only thing different in my diet lately has been using some soy sauce that Jesus sent me, and I've never reacted to the stuff before.
Real Sudafed didn't touch it, slathering my nose and inhaling Vick's VapoRub fumes for an hour didn't touch it. Finally, I think I must have passed out about 2 hours later from the pain!
Anyone else ever had this?

Re: Sinus Headache
Are you sure it is a sinus headache? I rarely have a sinus headache but my symptoms are different. I have headaches where my head is throbbing either from dehydration or a jump in blood pressure. When my blood pressure is elevated I am often awakened by throbbing in my head.
