I hope y'all are aware that Geraldo Rivera published a selfie from his shower that said something like "70 is the new 50" and people across the world are chlorine-bleaching their eyeballs and undergoing hypnosis to forget the image...

However ANTHONY BOURDAIN (the cook and world traveler with the cast iron stomach)

TWEETED the very pertinent line:

"This is Geraldo's entry into New York Political races"

I think Anthony Bourdain was adding Geraldo to the likes of Anthony Weiner's weiner shots and Eliot Spitzer's adventures with pavement princesses...

Spitzer and Weiner are both asking for forgiveness in their campaigns for office and ahead in the polls.

So Geraldo doing a selfie was in comic preparation for him running for office -- a new requirement of NY politics - a sex scandal.

I mean who wants to see a 70 year old half-naked man fresh from the showers?

I know - another half naked 70 year old man.

Geraldo cornered the market on that.
