Re: Sharknado (redux)
Over the weekend SyFy showed SHARKTOPUS VS WOLFWHALE.
I was only able to see a few minutes of it. The one human character that I saw in it was blonde and TSTL.

I"m just starting it so don't ask questions. I had to watch MR ROBOT. I have priorities you know! Pathetic ones but still Priorities.
Ann Coulter has a cameo os the VP and she surfs.
There is THE ORDER OF THE GOLDEN CHAINSAW
Louie Ferrigno
The sword in the stone
The cheesy jokes start early and come fast

Re: Sharknado (redux)
...
I must relate a story that is a reminiscence of times past.
I used to take my Mother to the malls and when that bored me too badly, I'd pick a movie for her Saturday.
So back just after the turn of the century, I decided the movie would be EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS about giant mutant spiders.
My Mom complained that she didn't like monster movies. She didn't like scary movies. yada yada. She didn't want to stay home, either.
Now EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS is a comedy monster flick and the crowd in the theater was rowdy and laughing. She enjoyed it. I did too. It's lots of fun with giant mutant spiders jumping around and killing people. And the hero is cute and adorable.
So I might like Lava-lantula.
Just for old times sake.

Re: Sharknado (redux)
There was an article today on Huffington Post Entertainment about the 7 glaring plot holes in SHARKNADO (like anyone cares):
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/sha ... f=entertai nment&ir=Entertainment§ion=entertainment
I did enjoy all the silliness and might (if nothing else is on) watch the repeat Saturday.

Arianna Huffington should get a cameo on a Sharknado.
Maybe then she will understand, sharks in space.

Re: Sharknado (redux)
It's Saturday - - SHARKNADO #1,#2,#3 repeats today.
All three movies, imagine that.
From 3pm to 9pm you can camp out in front of the TV and watch the entire trilogy.
Of Course, FX Channel has programmed the Twilight Saga's BREAKING DAWN parts 1 and 2 against it. That has the sweet smell of success. . .
And ABC-Family has programmed the All-weekend (from 7am or 8am to 12-midnight) Harry Potter Festival. All eight movies over two days. And yes, all the character successfully go through puberty (except for that one who became a vampire with the steamy eyes who couldn't decide to do anything but bore people to death. Where are you Frank Lngella now that we need you?)
The ratings wars are raging.
