OH NO, NOT AGAIN!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3062074/

Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014)

TV Movie - Horror | Sci-Fi | Thriller - 30 July 2014 (USA)

A freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites - and only Fin and April can save the Big Apple.

And this time, they aren't serious -- (the makers, not the sharks or the chain saws)

ADDED 6 hours later: THere's going to be a SHARNADO 3 -

It will be an epic trilogy to rival the greatest trilogies of all time. . .

Unescapable logic!

Sharknado, the original was corny, fun and well cast.

I hope subsequent Sharknadoes do as well.

I do not fear earthquakes, but I do fear sharknadoes,

I saw one take out Santa Monica pier.

Stewart or Colbert wanted to combine Sharks and Earthquakes.

A movie poster pic of an earthquake fissure opening up and Great Whites leaping out.

Yet, unnamed.

A few years ago (lots of year) when the movie EARTHQUAKE hit the theaters, the summer disaster film was hyped as "earth-shaking" and "life-changing" and all sort of silliness.

AND, the studio paid for installation of speakers to replicate the earthquake in the theater. So a number of older theaters shipped in and installed a pair of ALTEC-1 speakers and huge-ass amp.

The A-1 is a ported cabinet with a 2 foot diameter speaker - it is usually 1 inch plywood - 4 feet by 4 feet by 8 feet.

AND yes, it does shake the ground around it.

It is the woofer from hell.

SO WHAT HAPPENED?

plaster cracked and fell in the older theaters.

Candies and lobby signs vibrated off shelves and counters.

Roofing panels leaked and separated.

Buildings next to the theaters not only heard the A-1 but watched as their goods moved with the vibration.

Burglar alarms went off.

So the Theaters turned down the volume and settled for a deep rumble rather than a roar of tectonic plates ripping LA into pieces-parts like vultures and chicken wings.

I bet River likes Earthquake for the same reason I do.

We recognize the places being destroyed

And the cast is lots of Hollywood's finest like the Towering Inferno.

Too bad they don't make them like that today.

Sharknado is fun !

It is one of those, It's So Bad - movies that works. I don't like SciFi channel movies but really

Sharknado is fun !

Sharknado forever.

Moi 🚬

Some may say why.

I say, , , um, I forget

Sharknado has that hot summer night drive in theater quality.

The cast worked well together.

It somehow came together better than most SciFi channel productions.

And no sharks were hurt in the filming I'm told.

Your list has too many computer tricks.

Moi 🚬

has declared it so, so it is so ! & ! ( Don't go off topic over this )
