I am in Ohio and looking for someone close by to castrate me, I would like it done with the bridizzo but if you want and know how by cutting that will work also. Hope to hear from someone that is able to help me with this. I am willing to buy the bridizzo and let you have it when we are done.

Will let this post ride as an opportunity to explain the problems with burdizzo, and rushed castration, never mind cutters.

Let us know where you find that bridizzo and the price you paid. I've looked for a long time for a bridizzo and....even Walmart doesn't have one and, as we all know, if they can't or don't make it in China and sell it through Walmart, it's going to be a hard find. Actually, a friend in Nevada collects the new, the old the unusual....I'll ring him to see if he has one (or more) in his collection. You might try Tiffany and Co. they're grand at custom orders and, on personal observations, have made many brids izzo with delight at one of their concoctions. Anything over 5 carats and Tiffany covers the floor with pillows before the presentation is made, hands round smelling salts and moves one of their clerks, well trained in first aid, to an appropriate, convenient place.

OR failing that, build a better mouse trap and make a fortune; You can be both the "before" and "after" model.

I bought mine on the internet about a year ago. Nice all stainless steel well made piece. Wasn't hard to find or prohibitively expensive, about $60 if I remember right. For me it's a fantasy toy. I like to lay my cords side by side between the jaws and squeeze just short of letting them snap shut. Don't know anyone who would do the job and wouldn't say so if I did.

Just use the computer and type in The name of the clamp you want And should come up, Sizes are from 18 inch to 9 inch. When you have it, find a friend to help you. Good luck.

Luck would be definitely required, cause, it was told more than once on this forum, that burdizzo is not designed for use on humans, and that human spermatic cords are less brittle.

Check at any farm supply store, or look at such stores on line. They are readily available and reasonably priced. Those very few who have had any luck with this method used the 18" version.

No problem finding one in Ohio. All the rural farm areas have a farm and fleet store. You can buy your Western shirts, cowboy boots and clamps in one stop. Oh and probably the cheapest place to buy quality dog food. They are usually displayed in the area where they have all the medical supplies for treating animals.

Oh that is right you are not an animal. Clamping is not always effective on animals and even less on humans. You may still have your testicles along with much swelling and a chance for some internal bleeding. Then from the farm store to the hospital. Good luck.

I would urge you to save your money for a trip to see the urologist in Michigan who is doing elective orchiectomies. His name is Dr. Marc Arnkoff.

I went through this "phase" in the mid-1990's, so I definitely understand. I wanted the testicles gone ASAP. I bought a burdizzo from a local farm equipment store. It just seemed to give me a lot of pain and a crease in my scrotum that took a long time to disappear. Then I bought an elastrator, with a nice little plastic envelope full of little tight green elastic bands. Within 5 or 10 minutes I had horrible cramping in my abdomen, sweating, and a feeling that I was going to pass out. After about 30 minutes I had to remove the band.

Eventually, in 2000, I was castrated by Dr. Felix Specter in Philadelphia. Given his age and loss of competence by that point (I was on the table for several hours), I would almost classify him with those other attempts. It took more than two months for me to heal and I was left with more scarring than necessary, along with an adhesion (which is not too terrible, because it creates the appearance of labia).

I am a male-to-female transsexual. Today I live as a woman part-time and I really don't pass as a man, but I brazen it out anyway. I'm very, very glad that my testicles are gone. But if I could do it again, I would go to a competent urologist like the doctor in Michigan.

I bought an 18" burdizzo, as a lark, on Ebay years ago. As with anything, they are easy to find on the Internet. Just Google them.

I'm not about to use it on myself, but it is a cool conversation piece.
