I was going to just have the nut removed but the dr is going away on vacation this week into next so said it would be best to do it once he is back. So he cant do it till the 14 of August and I move on the 30th and will be doing a lot of lifting. So I am going to get a repeat ultrasound the end of August (2 months from the original ultrasound) and then go from there. I am noticing more pressure in my groin, radiating to my ingunal canal. The lump feels the same. I am wondering if I have epididymitis and that caused the pressure and all and the lump is just incidental. My dr started me on cipro so I am hoping the pain subsides. It increased from a 2 to a 4 or 6 and is worse with standing. Err, I hate medical issues. And I am still trying not to totally freak myself out.

I wound up moving back home and I followed up at Penn, which is where I had my leukemia taken care of when I was younger. The drs were more supportive and the whole process was better. It didnt grow and they did more imaging and they thought it was more of a fibroma and wont be an issue. I had it re imaged after 6 months and it is stable so I am happy. I still want to loose it all but at least they arent killing me at the moment. The pain is still there, but as long as it isnt cancer I can deal with that.

I just had a biopsy (Failed it - prostate cancer) and I asked the same question. Doesn't biopsy leak cancer cells? The doctor told me this was an excellent question but that it didn't work that way. I wish I had brought up the testicular cancer thing because doctors don't do biopsy then. Weird and disturbing.
