As we move into this first weekend of summer and have our BBQs and drink remember what this day is about, give a moment of your time and remember those who have given for us.

Respect those who serve.
Disdain their leaders who place so little value on American
blood, bone & lives compared to seventy years ago.
The Rich Don't Bleed Proportionally in the all Volunteer Army
while they profit with "Not At War, Wars".
Respect those who serve.
Disdain the chickenhawks who devalue these Americans.
Respectfully

Re: Memorial Day 2013
You wouldn't know it's supposed to be summer here. We had a couple weeks of weather in the 90's, got my swimming pool ready, and now we've got a couple weeks in the low-mid 70's. I'm wondering if I'm living in California or Maine at the moment. And after all the hard work I put in to get it ready, I WANNA GET IN MY POOL DANG IT!

Re: Memorial Day 2013
A lot of people have lived tough lives so that each one of us can be here.
It's too easy to lump people into groups and then minimize their effort
or importance, but each of us had fathers and mothers and their parents
who worked and did without to make our lives better.
