seriously considering becoming a Eunuch, please help

Hello,

I just turned 25 recently and my desire to become a eunuch has not left me. I hate having sex, I get no enjoyment out of it, also I hate the thought of being in a relationship but due to being horny I occasionally lead a girl on as at the time I want them but then I realise that I'm perfectly happy being single and really hate myself for hurting them. I really dont mean too and I want to get this out of my system!!!!

I have also recently noticed that my hair is receeding which I hate, all I want is to be happy in myself. I did some research on hairloss and castration and one study by hamilton in the 50's shows that those men who were castrated after mpb set in did not see any further expansion to their balding.

what are peoples views on this?? without HRT does baldness stop as you are pretty much eliminating dht, especially if you add a dht inhibitor topically to mop up any leftovers from the small amount of test you have in your system

Just remember if you take anti-androgen drugs, and later wish to father children you could find out that the anti-androgen drugs have affected fertility. This can happen within week to years.

Castration makes you sterile, and taking anti-androgen drugs or estrogen for a long time can give the same effect as castration but as you still have testicles you are hypogonadual.

Before you take any action please do your research as there are side effects of castration, like feminization of body form (breast growth and distribution of body fat) , penis atrophy, and other effects like less body hair and lighter facial hair. (Note this is without HRT)

For as long as you have testicles, defective or not, if you simply were to take estradiol (estrogen) without anything blockers your glands WILL turn around and convert the estradiol into testosterone. I am NOT wrong on this point!!! Many here seem to think that I am. There is a wealth of information out there but you may be wise to limit yourself to scientific and medical discussions rather than just hearsay which you will find about anywhere on the web including here.

For whatever it's worth I am the only "male" that is not bald on both sides of my family probably due to lack of T.

finisteride is supposed to stop baldness in like 95% of people. it does not regrow a lot but to stop it, yeah fin/propecia at 1-5mg is whats usualy prescribed. people say that it could have lasting sexual side effects but it does not seem like you care about such things so its something to seriously consider. as for castration, well iv been surgicly castrated for like a year and was on T blocker for like 6 months before that. I do epilation and electrolysis for facial and body hair so any loss of that could be attributed to such. as for head hair, I would say it kinda stopped it from falling out. I was losing some from my temples but it seems to have improved but most importantly I would say it has stopped. im still keeping a close eye on the situation mind you. however you have to understand that if you are surgicly castrated you will need either low doses of E or T to keep your bones from wasting away, the body usualy needs one or the other unless you want to be in a state of male menopause for the rest of your life, lol. also if you take low doses of T it could exacerbate any success you have at keeping your hair even after castration. if you take E then be prepared for the effects on the rest of the body. to be honest it seems like youd be best just takeing finesteride/propecia but that's only my opinion. whatever ya do good luck XD

I have no hair on top and it will never grow back of that im sure but what I will say is after becoming a eunuch 18 months ago I do have so very fine hairs up there but they look stupid just the odd one standing up so I shave it off anyway, I shave my face anyway but the stubble looks like a dalmatian in reverse with thick and thin patches and then none at all. I do take a very small dose of T to try and stop all the other problems being a eunuch brings on.

May be im just strange in the hair department.
