Welcome to the EA
There are several of us from Ohio. I do think you need to tell us more about yourself before anyone would feel comfortable making contact. I made the mistake of allowing two members to contact me and one called after I asked him to stop and the other, I think, was using me for masturbation. I do not want PM's either from someone with whom I have no knowledge. Tell us about yourself on the message boards and someone may contact you.
For hour own protection you also have to make sure you are talking to someone legit and not just someone using you for kink. You will probably find many answers to your questions by reading the information already posted. The boards are a great resource so please enjoy.

I understand your hesitation totally. Problem is I can't for the life of me figure out how to post to the message board or do much else for that matter. I am amazed I figured out how to reply to your reply. Your help would be appreciated

You have posted on the message boards. You have posted in Surgical castration now tell us what you are comfortable sharing about your desire for castration. Give us an idea of who you are and what you are about. It is easy to make friends here.

It may be one thing to not fully understand how to do something, like posting to the message boards, and another to learn more of how to do that.
Clearly (to me, at least), you have figured out how to post messages, this being clear to me simply because you have posted messages...
My suggestion, as someone who does not live in Ohio, but does, from time to time, drive through Ohio, is to continue what you have been doing, namely posting messages, so you become more familiar with posting. As you do this, people will learn more about you, and Archive-based friendships are likely to develop.
In my view, clobbering people may impair making friends with some people while building friendship with those who relish clobbering.
I, for one, am not in favor of clobbering other folks.
As for figuring out how the Archive works, that may be a learning process for you; it was for me, and I am not finished with learning...
