Want new laptop with compatable copier
Just wondering what the best set up would be to be able to copy forms, things and stuff on a portable laptop would be? They always sell stuff separately but I've had my share of bad luck in the past due to incompatability that I'd rather just be able to buy the whole system together that works together somewhere. Any ideas? For fairly cheap.

Re: Want new laptop with compatable copier
I have a Toshiba laptop and a HP combo-printer connected by wifi, they work great together.
I use a wifi router connected to my cable to talk to each, and to each other.

Re: Want new laptop with compatable copier
Some years ago, I found it very useful to have a form of photocopier that was very small, accurate, and easy to use while doing field work for my ongoing research.
The photocopier consists of a Toshiba U305-S2812 notebook computer, an HP OfficeJet H470 portable USB ink-jet printer, and a Neat Receipts portable USB scanner, all of which fit nicely, with considerable room to spare, in the HP computer case that was made for the HP printer and an associated computer.
For snatching parts of bound journal articles, I later added a 18 megapixel pocket-size digital camera, which has more than enough resolution for getting a very readable copy of useful fair research copyright use parts of scientific journals.
The NeatReceipts scanner works well, it is not what I deem to be inexpensive.
Since I got my scanner, I have seen someone use a VuPoint Magic Wand scanner, which seemed to me to scan a flat paper document decently.
However, because I find it useful when on field work trips, to have an accurate record of expenses; for my purposes, I regard the NeatReceipts scanner to be more useful than a VuPoint one would be.
To get a system that works together, were I not as able to do that about as well as anyone can, I suppose I would head to the nearest Best Buy store, or some other purveyor of computer stuff; tell them what I needed, and make the compatibility issues their problem as part of closing the sale.

Re: Want new laptop with compatable copier
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try to follow up on that. My cheap tiny laptop is four years old now. It works... Anyway I had meant to say printer which is more accurate than copier. Guess I'm old for saying copier. The senior center in the town where I'm at does have computers there too. I may end up going there. Probably should volunteer there anyway. I'll be old enough now, I have an aarp card, and my hair has gone silver too (hereditarily early) so I could pass.

Have you been to TigerDirect.com (http://www.tigerdirect.com/)? They offer on-line and telephone consultation, and they may have a store near you. Lots of deals, bargains, refurbished PC's, laptops, and peripherals.
The last 3 PC's I have purchased for work have been refurbished 'deals' from TigerDirect. Saved a bundle of $.
Have always been treated well. Fast delivery.
I'm lucky to have a store near me, and they stay open REAL late. Check the store locator icon when you get to the website.
(Most refurbished stuff has to be shipped from the refurbisher's warehouse.)
