When they burned Washington in 1814
During the War of 1812, the British entered Washington D.C. in 1814 and burned the White House, the Senate, the House of Represenatives (sp) and the Library of Congress.
The British committed this action, in part, for the American destruction at Port Dover in Upper Canada.

I keep nodding. You were a britsh colony back then, not Canada.

Before it could burn down, the Lord sent a sudden and massive Thunderstorm and Fire extinguishing Rain.
