A trans hello

Post by MelissaAu (imported) »

Hello

I am a MTF trans. I have been on oestrogen for 3 years. Sterlity is not an issue.

Occasionally I still masquerade as a boy but I usually end up looking pretty ambiguous. My slightly still growing A cups make it pretty hard.

I was thinking about using a burdizzo and possibly ending hormones which I have reduced. I had been quoted 8-12k for a professional removal. I am in Australia.

I didn't want to have to do it 5 times or make a mess of it :> I am completely serious. Reading prior discussions of technique.

I may post photos ... I won't be doing it for a few months.

Hey!

Things shouldn't ever be so bad that you have to take things into your own hands :( Burdizzo is supposed to flat out not work on people, whether it's done "right" or not. The only thing remotely safe as well as effective is supposed to be the alcohol injections from what I've heard.

Losing my testicles certainly wasn't the magic bullet I was hoping it would be, either. I actually got extra hair growth afterwards which is only just starting to go. And if you're still getting breast growth you probably won't be able to lower your dose anyway?

Sorry if you know all this already I'd just hate for you to do something desperate and come off worse than I did!

8000-12000 just for orchiectomy? To me that sounds pretty steep, but that may be how it is in Oz. Have you checked out other providers in or near Australia? If you're desperate enough, go to Thailand—I doubt the surgeons or support staff are as good as the Australian ones, but they'll be a lot better than you with a kitchen knife.

Thank you all for helpful your advice and messages. :>

After a bit of thought I have decided to go with alcohol injections.

You have probably saved me some painful failures!

I think I have located a source of spirytus 95% pure vodka.

I will keep you posted. :>

Good luck, Melissa. Alcohol injections saved my sanity for the many months I had to wait before orchiectomy. The first injection can be a bit stressing, but after the first one or two injections, it's no problem whatsoever.
