Hi guys,
I have been coming to the EA for a really long time, I have been searching for a way to become a nullo but have always been shutdown by doctors who think it is a phase and not normal.
I have spoken to shrinks, and they all think that I will get over this and that they will not approve surgery for some one who wants to become a nullo because that is how they identify them selves.
So the ultimate question I have for the board is does any one know of a Doctor here in Australia, preferably in Victoria that will help me on my way to becoming the person I want to be.
Please this is very important to me as I have been starting to think that I may need to take matters into my own hands which is not something I think is a good idea but with out the help it just keeps eating a way at me.
Looking for some help

As frustrating as it is that it is impossible to get a good doctor to do a voluntary nullification, I think we all understand why they don't -- removal of a technically healthy part of the body is a mental issue, and in this case there is not a good standard practice for people with such an issue. So can't really blame them.
On the other hand, I know what living with such an obsession is like. It is real, and is something that will only stop when the obsession is fulfilled.
I think you have two options. In Australia, you are relatively close to Thailand and India, and might want to chance going there and seeing if money can convince a doctor there to do it. I personally don't like the idea of medical tourism though because if anything went wrong, you can't expect good medical or legal recourse. The other option is that you need to damage the genitals yourself in such a way that removal is deemed medically necessary. Some people have successfully done that through banding. If you band a penis (make sure you leave in a tube for urination before applying the band) for 48 hours, it will be necessary to remove it. If you make it look like an accident or misadventure (i.e. say you fell asleep with it on while drunk and were too embarassed to seek immediate medical attention) you probably will avoid any referal to mental health for suspected self-harm.
There is one other option. Penis numbing might achieve enough of an effect for you to be satisfied. There is a Korean surgeon who is doing a neurectomy of the the dorsal penis nerve as a remedy for premature ejaculation. I'd be interested in trying that if I lived closer to Korea.

Re: Looking for some help
The one down fall to living so close to these countries is that flights are not the cheapest especially when your on a Centrelink payment (Social Services), I have talked to a number of Doctors and Shrinks here in Australia and they all just brush it off.
I do understand what you are saying by going to India or Thailand but as you said the safety of doing that is not as high as it is when having something done in your home country and on the other side I don't do so well when I am over seas in a new country for the first time.
Some time doctors need to take a long hard look at how they treat people like myself because we have to go through out our lives living the way they want us to live and that is not a good way for it to go.
