Two hours ago I bought a foot long Subway. Cut it in half, put the other half in the cooler..

It's been calling to me for over a half hour. Now the box of Oreo's are speaking up too.

You can resist these temptations.

Take my word for it. I live without candy, chocolate, ice cream, sherbet, and quite a bit more.

I do indulge in coconut flour pancakes about twice a month now, with no-sugar syrup in tiny amounts.

One of my little sins...

Please do a Google search for "albacore tuna mercury" without the quotes.

This all sounds like the Atkins Diet from about 15 years ago. It does work. The difficult part is when you come off of it when you've reached your goals. It's good you're recognizing the need to take supplements during this time to replace that which you're not getting in the food you're eating.

UPDATE,

My son has had me on this diet for about a month now and he is on it with me so that helps. Yesterday morning I was 258.5 had a bowl of cereal and a banana couple cups of tea, Apple for lunch, I was not hungry, went for a drive down to talula's nobody was home, went to DQ, had a double cheese burger with a med. Chocolate Malt. Had some pineapple for dinner, cup of hot coco for last meal of the day. This morning 257.4 - now understand we were off our diet yesterday, the important thing is that we are eating 5 times a day, I am eating more fruit and vegi's, lean meat, cut all things white except milk, excercise every other day, and its working.

I have not been under 260 in several years at 250 I get biscuits and gravy. WOOT WOOT

I've been on my diet since October 2012.

Started at 205, and I'm now sitting at around 178 pounds as of yesterday.

I hate my life but the results are worth it :P

Fortunately pizza friday is almost here!

I am actually enjoying my diet, like yesterday - a year ago or 2 months ago I would have had 2 double cheese burgers fries and a large chocolate malt then looked for something else, yesterday one hamburger and medium malt and I was full. More importantly I know that I can have a cheat day every week or so if I am good and still stay on my diet, and still loose weight.

My congratulations to all who are losing weight. I am not on a diet but, because of taking Zija capsules, I have lost about 15 lbs. I am down to 154-155 lbs from 172 lbs. Much less back trouble, still have energy even if I am on only 12.5 mg of Testosterone daily. And I can miss a day of it and still have energy.

Well,

Either I must do something or go get "HINDENBURG" tattooed on both sides... not sure which it is going to end up being.

I started my diet exactly 2 months ago, and was at 270 lbs. As of yesterday morning, I was officially down to the lowest weight that I have EVER been as an adult... 244.6 lbs. (My previous low was 245, which was all the way back in my senior year of high school.) So I've lost 25.4 lbs in two months, with pretty much no exercise whatsoever, and pretty much eating as much as I want. (Although I'll admit, for some reason HRT has COMPLETELY changed my appetite... I just never seem to get as hungry anymore.) And the good part is, almost all of the weight has been coming off of my midsection. My waist-hip ratio started out at 0.88 before the diet, and is now down to a whopping 0.82. (37 inch waist, 45 inch hips.) Which actually means that I am BELOW the 0.83 ratio that the average female has. Awesome stuff! I can't wait to lose more weight! It's exciting! :D As more and more weight is coming off of the "male" areas, my body is looking more and more feminine. My immediate goal is to get below 200 lbs, and technically with my height and frame size, my "ideal" weight is somewhere around 160-170. It's a lofty goal for sure, especially since I haven't been that weight since I was 13 years old, but hey, nothing's impossible, right?
