I mail probably 500-600 pieces of 1st class a year. But I wouldn't mind missing out on Saturdays. I, too, pay most of my bills with online banking.

"Bulk rate" materials make up a larger portion of USPS revenue than First Class mail does and therefore is indispensable as far as total sales are concerned. You pay nothing for the USPS except what you pay for postage and services -No taxes - No subsidies. The entire postal system is off the federal budget. --FLO--

We have our bills paid automatically. The companies send the bill to the bank and the bank pays it. Without Sat. mail, they should still be paid by the bank. However, we have copies of the bills that come to us to let us know it is being deducted. And I would imagine that companies will have to adjust their payment dates so that they do not fall on Sat. any more.

3) This financial difficulty is purely a political power play to destroy the postal union because it votes democratic in the elections. But that's all I will say about that because we are in the "deep dark cellar" and not "politics".
