If your testosterone levels were at 16, you'r actually well below castrate levels. As I understand it, anything below 50 (is it mg's?) puts you at castrate levels. Welcome to chemical castration, you're a chemical eunuch.

It seems we use different units. 16mmol/l is very average for my age.

Hash,

I suspect you are using ng/dl versus mmol/l

it is now almost 2 weeks with 100mg/day. I think I begin to notice first changes. Sexual fantasies are less intense and I masturbate less. The orgasm is a little weaker. No side effects so far.

That’s good for you things are beginning to happen, you should notice a lot of changes from now on, I really began to notice the changes after six weeks and got every side effect going at the beginning, if you do get them, stick with it as things do calm down although some people have none, I have been on androcur for over a year and my testosterone level is now 8.5 nmol/L a level for me which I no longer have any erections or think about sex so your level at 16 should start to drop quite soon .

Having been a no T eunuch for a long time that is the only orgasms I have. I still fantasize but have no desire to fulfill them. It sounds like the medication is bringing you to castrate levels. I hope this brings you peace.

Its now 4 weeks on androcur 100mg now. The changes stopped about a weeks ago. Sexual fantasien decreased about 60% and I have dry orgasms or orgasms with very little ejaculation now. But besides that I feel no real difference... I think I can go further. Maybe I will increase the dosage to 150...

Today I got my current testosterone level. Its about 2 nmol/l. Thats a lot lower I expected for that short period and I expected much more side effects on that level. Actually I have almost no side effects. The only things I have is less sexual thoughts and some dry orgasms...

Hello,

I am thinking about getting a 150mg injection of depo provera. I have read this is the treatment they give to sex offenders (I am not one I have just read about their chem castrations) and they say it is effective for 3 months. My question is how long does it take to work, I mean I kinda figure I will still be able to function right after the needle is taken out. But is it a matter of hours, days, weeks? I have not been able to find an average time of how long before you loose your ability to function. Can anyone tell me?
